Industry veteran Jim Galkowski has joined Baird as director and financial advisor in the firm’s new branch office in Rochester, Minn., the company said in a recent news release.
Galkowski was formerly with Wells Fargo, where he managed approximately $482 million in client assets. Senior client specialist Jill Roux joins him at Baird.

Baird established its first office in the state in 1974. The new Rochester branch is Baird’s fourth private wealth management office in Minnesota, and further expands its regional footprint in the state with over 60 associates also located in St. Paul, Edina and Minnetonka.
Headquartered in Milwaukee, Baird’s private wealth management business encompasses more than 1,300 financial advisors serving clients from more than 160 locations in 33 states, comprising client assets of more than $215 billion.
