Ross Perot is the richest former U.S. presidential candidate with a fortune of $4.3 billion, 10 times more than publishing tycoon Steve Forbes and about three times the wealth of the top 10 list combined, according to research firm Wealth-X.
Hillary Clinton, who ran for the Democratic nomination in 2008, has a net worth of $100 million, putting her in the sixth spot along with her husband, former President Bill Clinton. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, who unsuccessfully ran against former President George W. Bush in 2004, came in third with $280 million. Bush, meanwhile, didn't make the top 10 list.
