In San Francisco, Eric Stern has been appointed managing director of private banking for Ascent Private Capital Management of U.S. Bank. Previously, Stern was a vice president with Morgan Stanley Private Bank, where he worked with individuals and businesses.
In the Twin Cities, Lou Gomez has been promoted to director of sales and Mark Moeller has been promoted to investment team leader for The Private Client Reserve.
Gomez previously launched and ran the wealth management business for Associated Bank in the Twin Cities. He also has extensive experience working with small to mid-sized businesses and entrepreneurs as a commercial banker at J.P. Morgan.
Moeller has more than 20 years of professional experience. Most recently, he served as an investment consultant for institutions, including foundations, endowments and pension plans. He also worked as an equity research analyst for an investment bank and a money management firm.
