U.S. Bank has named Dan Farley regional investment director for The Private Client Reserve in Minneapolis. In his new role, Farley will support leadership and investment professionals in the east region.
Farley joined The Private Client Reserve in 2010 as a senior portfolio manager and was promoted to portfolio manager/player coach before being promoted to his most recent position as Twin Cities investment lead.
With over 13 years of financial services experience, Farley also served as a vice president with Dougherty Commercial Properties and as a management consultant in Deloitte Consulting’s strategy practice prior to that.
He was also commissioned as a combat engineer officer in the U.S. Army, serving over five years on both active duty and in the Minnesota National Guard.
Farley attended the University of Notre Dame, graduating summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He earned his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a double major in finance and marketing, where he graduated in the top 5 percent of his class.
