U.S. Bank has made three appointments:
For Ascent Private Capital Management of U.S. Bank in Seattle, Lance Losey has been named managing director of wealth strategy. Losey will provide multi-generational planning, family governance, trust and fiduciary advisory services to ultra-high-net-worth clients. Previously, Losey served as partner and chairman of an estate planning and probate practice group within a Seattle law firm.
Also for Ascent Private Capital Management in Seattle, Mary Welk has been named managing director of client advisory services. Welk will be the primary point of contact for ultra-high-net-worth clients and coordinate the team of professionals who assist them with investment management, private banking and administrative services. Most recently, Welk served as managing director and wealth management advisor for U.S Bank. Prior to that, she served as CEO of a large family office.
For U.S. Bank Wealth Management in Minneapolis, Ed Cowling has been appointed to the new position of director of specialty asset management. Cowling will be responsible for all specialty asset management functions, including real estate management, farm and ranch management, oil, gas and mineral interests, loan asset management, and specialty asset management administration. Cowling joined U.S. Bank from Bank of America, where he was national manager of real estate for their wealth management business.
BNY Mellon has hired two industry veterans to its Atlanta wealth management office:
Jonathan Blackwood is a senior private banker responsible for leading and growing BNY Mellon's private banking activities in Georgia. Blackwood joins the firm from Wells Fargo, where he held increasingly responsible positions for more than 20 years, most recently as a senior vice president and senior private banker for the company's Atlanta private bank.
David Noosinow is senior sales director, responsible for business development efforts throughout Georgia as well as in the Lexington and Louisville, Ky., markets. Noosinow, who has nearly 30 years of experience in financial services, most recently served as vice president and financial advisor with Bernstein Global Wealth Management.
