Cresset Hires $500M AUM Advisor From Goldman Sachs

Cresset Asset Management LLC, headquartered in Chicago, has hired Hanley Sayers as a partner, managing director and wealth advisor in Houston, the company announced in a news release.

Sayers was formerly a vice president with Goldman Sachs, where a spokesman said he managed $500 million in assets for high-net-worth families and individuals, as well as foundations and endowments.

Sayers earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Washington and Lee University, and an MBA degree with a dual concentration in private equity finance and real estate finance from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.

Founded in 2017 by private equity investors Eric Becker and Avy Stein, Cresset Asset Management LLC is a subsidiary of Cresset Capital Management.
