Chilton Trust, an independent wealth management firm in New York City, has appointed Thomas Walsh to the position of senior vice president of Naples and the Southwestern Florida region, the company recently announced.
In his new role, Walsh will be responsible for leading the continued expansion of Chilton Trust in Florida’s southwest region. He will also support the opening of a new office in Naples later this year.
Walsh, an industry veteran with two decades of experience, most recently served as a principal and senior client advisor at Bessemer Trust, a wealth management and investment advisory firm in Naples, Fla., that focuses exclusively on ultra-high-net-worth families, their trusts, foundations and endowments. He began his career as a portfolio analyst with Wood Asset Management, a Sarasota-based RIA.
A member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Naples, Walsh graduated Magma Cum Laude from the Lutgurt College of Business at Florida Gulf Coast University, where he earned a B.S. degree in Finance. Walsh also received a M.S. degree in finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. He is an honor graduate from the Cannon Trust School, where he earned the CFA Charterholder designation.
