BNY Mellon Taps Ed Mora As California’s Orange County Regional President

BNY Mellon Wealth Management, a wholly owned subsidiary of New York City-based BNY Mellon, has appointed Edward (Ed) Mora as regional president in Orange County, Calif., the company announced today in a news release.

In his new role, Mora will be responsible for leading all aspects of the wealth management business in Orange and San Diego counties, including advisory, investment, fiduciary, private banking and marketing.

Mora is a seasoned professional with more than 27 years of wealth management experience. He most recently worked for Bank of the West | BNP Paribas Wealth Management as senior vice president and head of the Southern California Region. Mora also worked as an executive with Union Bank Private Bank, where he founded and led the wealth planning division across three states.

He will be based in Newport Beach, Calif., and reports directly to Rob Kricena, president of BNY Mellon's west region.
