BNY Mellon Wealth Management, headquartered in New York City, has appointed Chad Van Den Top to the position of senior client strategist, the company announced today in a news release.
In his new role, Van Den Top will provide comprehensive wealth structuring advice to ultra-high-net-worth families, business owners, private equity and hedge fund principals, and family offices. He will be based in Boston, reporting to Vicary Graham, regional president of the New England Region.
Van Den Top most recently served as a wealth strategist for Northern Trust in San Francisco, where he provided wealth structuring advice to the firm's ultra-high-net-worth Silicon Valley clients and prospects. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Van Den Top was a Trust & Estate specialist with Merrill Lynch.
Van Den Top received a bachelor’s degree in horticulture from Iowa State University; a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law; and an LL.M. in taxation from Georgetown University Law.
