Lincoln, Mass.-based Athena Capital Advisors has promoted managing partner to president and chief operating officer.
David Lynch has assumed the position of president after previously serving as managing partner. He succeeds outgoing president Leonard Lewin, who has has been appointed to Athena’s board of directors and was named vice chairman. Lynch also continues to serve as deputy chief investment officer at Athena.
Melissa Mattison has been promoted to the role of chief operating officer after serving as vice president, strategic solutions. Mattison joined Athena from Fidelity Investments in 2007.
Founded in 1993 by Lisette Cooper, Athena has more than $6 billion in assets under management.
