Franklin Templeton, a global investment firm founded in New York City in 1947 as Franklin Distributors, Inc., has appointed Andrew Conroy to the position of vice president, ETF Capital Markets, a spokesman said in an email.
Conroy, and industry veteran with over 15 years of experience, most recently oversaw the institutional fixed income ETF effort for the iShares Markets Coverage Team within BlackRock.
In his new role with Franklin Templeton, Conroy will work closely with retail and institutional distribution teams to scale client investment in the firm’s active fixed income ETF lineup.
As of March 31, 2021, Franklin Templeton’s active fixed income ETF lineup had $5.2 billion of assets under management globally across 20 funds.
