Jones brings two decades of leadership experience to his new role at BNY Mellon, most recently serving as vice president and business banking senior relationship manager for Bank of America. After graduating from Westminster College with a bachelor's degree in economics, he started his career at Wells Fargo Bank before joining PNC Bank, where he rose to the position of assistant vice president and business banker. Prior to working for Bank of America, he was vice president and senior commercial relationship manager at Huntington Bank.

Jones will work with ultra-high-net-worth families, business owners, corporate executives and private equity and hedge fund principals and their family offices, according to a news release. He will also provide services to foundations and endowments.

Founded in 1784 as the Bank of New York, BNY Mellon Wealth Management reported having $264 billion in total client assets as of June 30, 2022.
