Accelerating The Success Of Accountants And Advisors Working Together

Andree Mohr is chief implementation officer for Integrated Partners, a leading financial advisory firm. She oversees the growth initiatives, including the CPA Alliance program.

Russ Alan Prince: Integrated Partners’ CPA Alliance program is rare in the private wealth industry. Can you give us a high-level overview of the program?

Andree Mohr: The CPA Alliance program was developed to enable accountants and advisors to work together for the betterment of their clients and their firms. Often the most significant and first stumbling block for advisors and accountants is finding the right partners. We work very hard to solve this problem. 

Presently, 205 advisors and 170 accountants have joined Integrated Partners. We match up the professionals based on our understanding of the advisors and accountants. Then, we provide ongoing support to enable everyone to get results. For example, through our team of in-house specialists, we deliver a proven marketing campaign to generate a strong referral funnel.

Prince: What are you doing that’s new to accelerate the success of accountants and advisors working together? 

Mohr: We’re constantly looking to help accountants and advisors accelerate their success. To this end, we recently launched Integrated Academy. 

Integrated Academy is a multi-modal learning platform. At Integrated Academy, we use a combination of pre-set and live videos, publications, and targeted coaching to provide insights, processes, skills, tools and techniques to raise the bar for prospective clients, clients, and professionals. The mission of Integrated Academy is twofold. One is to empower the successful and wealthy to make smart decisions. For example, Paul Saganey, founder and president of Integrated Partners, co-authored Making Smart Decisions: How Ultra-Wealth Families Get Superior Wealth Planning Results which Integrated Academy publishes.

The other mission of Integrated Academy is to empower professionals to deliver superior results. Through our expanding educational programs and targeted coaching services, the accountants and advisors can identify clients to whom they can add more value. This benefits the clients and the professionals. Another outcome is more accomplished and wealthier clients for both the advisor and the accountant to work with.

At Integrated Academy, we are developing courses to help ensure professionals are technically proficient and to help them master robust relationship-building methodologies like the Everyone Wins process. Our goal is to raise the knowledge, proficiencies, and skills of professionals who want to deliver exceptional value to their clients and, by doing so, become significantly more successful.

Prince: What is the future of the CPA Alliance program?

Mohr: We first solved the most significant problem: connecting motivated accountants with motivated advisors. But that’s not the only stumbling block in getting great results. Helping the accountants and advisors work together to build a steady stream of opportunities where everybody benefits is critical. That has led to our marketing programs and Integrated Academy. 

We plan to continue to refine and upgrade as well as develop new resources for accountants and advisors so they can deliver superior results to clients together. Included here are proven processes for generating new clients for accountants and advisors. For example, our accountants and advisors can systematically generate client referrals because of the Everyone Wins process. It’s no longer about waiting for the phone to ring.

The CPA Alliance program is not for all accountants or advisors. It’s for those professionals wanting to do an exceptional job for their clients and increase their revenues significantly. Based on our pipeline of interested accountants and advisors, we expect the CPA Alliance program to grow substantially.
